Borasu Pass (5300 m) connects two states of Himalayas Uttarakhand & Himachal. The trail through alpine meadows, moraine ridges, glacier basins, pine forests and ancient villages, gives you spectacular valley views and a chance to experience the wonderful slow-paced local lifestyle. We can see magnificent view of Himalayan peaks Swargarohini, Banderpoonch, Black Peak , this valley comes under Govind National Park having various kind of Flora, Fauna, Wild Animals. This trek connects Uttarakahi district to Kinnaur Valley of Himachal.

Every year lots of trekkers form around the world come for Har Ki Dun trek. It is one of the most beautiful all season trek. However, very few know that if you continue on the same trail further, you can cross into Himachal. The pass which you will be using to do so is known as “Borasu Pass“. It connects Tons Valley in Uttrakhand with Baspa Valley in Himachal.

  • Day 1 Dehradun - Sankri(2000m) (Drive / 6 - 7 hrs)
    Pick up from Dehradun Railway station & drive for Sankari. Yow will be passing through the famous Hill Station Mussoorie. Breakfast & Lunch on the way. Evening we will reach Sankari, Check in Hotel/Guest house & Night Stay.
  • Day 2 Sankri(2000m) - Taluka - Seema (2560m) (Drive 40 mins) (Trek / 5 - 6 hrs)
    Morning warm up exercise & Breakfast at Sankarivillage , Depart to Taluka 12 km moterable, check all your necessary things required for trek & start trek to Osla 13 km long way which passes side by side of Supin river takes around 7 hours to reach Osla/Seema. Night stay in Osla / Seema.
  • Day 3 Osla /Seema to - Har - ki - Dun(3566m) (Trek / 5 - 7 hrs)
    Morning 7 am breakfast & depart for Har Ki Dun Valley which is 15 km far, takes 6-7 hours to reach. After crossing suspension bridge which made over Supinriver quite ascend trek. 4:30 or 5 :00 O’Clock we will reach to beautiful valley Har Ki Doon, take rest & wait for hot tea & snacks. Overnight Stay in Valley which will feel a new experience of life.
  • Day 4 Har - ki - Dun(3566m) - MorindaTaal - RattaDunga (4200m) (Trek / 5 - 6 hrs)
    Morning Breakfast Start trek for RattaDung with just a few hours of trekking from Harki Dun Valley. the walk meadows at the near Morinda Tal with the water Cascading around boulders Take the trail descending from the Forest Guest House, keeping the Harki Dun Ganga on your right. You can see the Hathi peak Swargarohini peak .There is a sturdy wooden bridge which you cross and a short climb bridge you to a nice camping place if you want to pitch your tent or walk another camp near River side view. Dinner & overnight at the camp Ratta Dunga
  • Day 5 Ratta Dung(4200m) - Borasu Pass (5250m) - Jairi (4500m) (Trek / 6 - 7 hrs)
    Today important day of the trek, we have to Cross main point of this trek. We have to start early in the morning, today we we have to pass some boulders & Snow. Morninig sunrise view is incredible on peaks, golden color of peaks makes our journey memorable. After crossing Borasu will reach Jairi. Night Stay in Jairi
  • Day 6 Jairi (4500m) - Rani Kanda (3950m) (Trek / 4 - 5 hrs)
    Today Trek is Easier & Shorter than Previous day, after Breakfast proceed to Ranikanda. From here we can see magnificent view of Himachal Valley. There is a sturdy wooden bridge which you cross and a short climb bridge you to a nice camping place overnight at the camp Ranikanda.
  • Day 7 Ranikanda(3950m) - Chitkul(3450m) (Trek / 4 - 5 hrs)
    Morning breakfast then start 11km trek. Jayhary to Chitkul Road Had Easy Day:. walk downhill first on the true right and then on the true left of river. The bridge crosses over to the left bank at Ranikanda Enquiry for Permissions and You can split this trek into two days by halting 1-2 km before Rani Kanda ITBP camp on the first day and moving towards Chitkul the next day. After absorbing the captivating green meadows, milky stream, blue sky and snow peaks of Bonga campsite, proceed towards Chitkul. Jeep support beyond Chitkul. Night Stay in Guest House / Home Stay
  • Day 8 Chitkul(3450m) - Shimla (Drive / 9 - 10 hrs)
    Today last day of the Trek Program, Check out after breakfast. Our vehicle will be waiting for you, Say Good bye to Himalayas. Full Day drive for Shimla. We will drop you in Shimla. Trek Program ends here. Advisory: keep Himalayan Regions clean and green, free from all kind of plastic garbage

Trekking, Tour and adventure actives in Himalayan region carry an inherent risk to life and goods. The natural calamities may cause injury and loss of life, which is beyond any control. Himalayas Adventure does its best to minimize all types of risks, discomfort and hazard to the best of their ability, yet there are chances of accidents, mishaps and deficiency in service.


  • Any delay from the customer’s side will lead to cancellation of trek/ tour/ adventure activities.
  • Trekking maybe cancelled due to some unavoidable circumstances i.e- weather condition, govt. notification, land sliding or any other natural calamity.
  • Himalayas Adventure reserves the right to discontinue, modify any trek, tour & adventure activities without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever.
  • Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc.) unfit for any reasons in the wisdom of the trek leader/guide/instructor will not be allowed for trekking /tour/ adventure activities. Request for a refund or a discount in such situation will not be entertained. Decision of the trek lead/guide/management in this regard would be final.
  • Total decided package cost will not be affected if there is any reduction in the number of persons
  • Minimum required 50% of amount to get confirmed the trek/tour/adventure activities.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 10-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-10 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days or can be adjusted in other trek or adventure activities.
