Positioned in the fascinating region of Bageshwar in Uttarakhand, Mount Balijuri is a snow-covered mountain located in the close proximity to the Pindari Glacier. This peak is at a lofty elevation of 5922 meters. The climb to Balijuri does not require a sound knowledge technical climbing. A slight knowledge of climbing is enough to take a tour to this imposing peak. Weather plays a significant role to climb the peak as the area experiences long stretches of bad climate. The trail to Mount Balijuri incorporates breathtaking landscapes and serenity that rejuvenates the minds of the adventure enthusiasts.

This 19 nights and 20 days itinerary takes the travelers to the majestic peak of Mount Baljuri. The expedition includes exploring various exquisite regions such as Dhakuri, Phurkia and Pindari Glacier. The tour is certain bliss for all the adventurers with an inclination towards witnessing nature’s grandeur.

  • Day 01: Arrive in Delhi, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
  • Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Delhi. Evening transfer to railway station for train to Kathgodam. Overnight in train.
  • Day 03: Arrive Kathgodam then drive to Song village (190 km). Overnight in Song village.
  • Day 04: Day free for rest. Overnight in Song village.
  • Day 05: Trek Song village to Dhakuri Pass (2621 mts) (5/7 hour walk). Overnight in camp.
  • Day 06: Trek to Dhakuri Pass (2621 mts) to Dwali (2576 mts) (6/7 hour walk). Overnight in camp.
  • Day 07: Trek Dwali to Phurkia (3250 mts). Overnight in camp.
  • Day 08: Trek Phurkia to Base Camp (5/6 hour trek). Overnight in camp.
  • Day 09: Day free for Rest.
  • Day 10: Opening Camp I. Overnight in camp.
  • Day 12: Opening camp II.
  • Day 14 & 15: Summit Attempt.
  • Day 16: Back to Base Camp.
  • Day 17: Trek Back to Dwali. Overnight in camp.
  • Day 18: Drive Dwali to Kathgodam railway station (225 km). Arrive Kathgodam, board on the train to Delhi. Overnight in train.
  • Day 19: Arrive Delhi, transfer to hotel. Day free, late evening transfer to IGI Airport for catch the onward flight.

Trekking, Tour and adventure actives in Himalayan region carry an inherent risk to life and goods. The natural calamities may cause injury and loss of life, which is beyond any control. Himalayas Adventure does its best to minimize all types of risks, discomfort and hazard to the best of their ability, yet there are chances of accidents, mishaps and deficiency in service.


  • Any delay from the customer’s side will lead to cancellation of trek/ tour/ adventure activities.
  • Trekking maybe cancelled due to some unavoidable circumstances i.e- weather condition, govt. notification, land sliding or any other natural calamity.
  • Himalayas Adventure reserves the right to discontinue, modify any trek, tour & adventure activities without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever.
  • Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc.) unfit for any reasons in the wisdom of the trek leader/guide/instructor will not be allowed for trekking /tour/ adventure activities. Request for a refund or a discount in such situation will not be entertained. Decision of the trek lead/guide/management in this regard would be final.
  • Total decided package cost will not be affected if there is any reduction in the number of persons
  • Minimum required 50% of amount to get confirmed the trek/tour/adventure activities.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 10-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-10 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days or can be adjusted in other trek or adventure activities.
