Kedartal is a high altitude famous pristine water lake. The lake water comes from melting of snow over Thalay Sagar (6904M), Meru( 6672M), Bhrigupanth (6772 M) and other surrounding peaks. The trail goes through the scenic Himalayan view, forests, alpine meadows, streams and glaciers, thus making the journey beautiful, adventurous and strenuous. Myth logically, This Lake is gift from Lord Shiva to Ganges. Here is a rock, called Bhagirath Shila, where Bhagirath sat and prayed for Lord Shiva'. The panoramic view of the place, especially the ridge that Shiva presented are mesmerizing.

  • Day 01: Rishikesh - Uttarkashi (165 Km/ 6-7 Hrs)
    Early morning we begin our Himalay journey for Uttarkashi . we go through various famous places such as Narendra Nagar, Tehri, Chamba and Chiniyalisaur. On reaching Uttarkashi, check in at the hotel and rest for some time. The rest of the day explore Uttarkashi. An overnight stay in the hotel.
  • Day 02: Uttarkashi - Gangotri (3048 M) Drive (95 Kms)
    Post breakfast, we start for Gangotri, a famous holy place among Hindu devotee. It is one of the four Dhams of Uttarakhand. According to the legend, it is believed to be the birth place of Ganga on earth. We visit Gangotri temple and do prayer of Ganges, after that exploring Gangotri.
  • Day 03: Gangotri - Bhoj Kharak (3989 M) 8 kms Trek
    After early morning breakfast, we begin our trek to Bhoj Kharak. The track will take us through the banks of Kedar Ganga River. The trails goes through dense Cedar forests. This trekking route is a little difficult, but keeps trekkers amazed with scenic natural beauty and waterfalls that come on the way. On reaching Bhoj Kharak, we will set a camp. overnight stay in camp.
  • Day 04: Bhoj Kharak - Kedar Kharak (4,270 M)- 4.5 Kms trek
    Today after breakfast in the morning, we will trek to Kedar Kharak. However, the route is little exhausting due to various steep climbs that will come on the way. We will be crossing through the forest of birch trees and reach the stunning meadows, where our camp will be set to relax, have meal and have a comfortable overnight stay in tent.
  • Day 05: Kedar Kharak - Kedar Tal (4750 M) Trek 4 - 5 Hrs
    In the morning after breakfast, we will trek from to Kedar Tal, The route goes through the path with scattered loose rocks and boulders. On reaching Kedar Tal, we will explore the beautiful glacial lake with magnificent Thalay Sagar Peak located behind it. Enjoy an overnight stay in the tents at Kedar Tal.
  • Day 06: Kedar Kharak - Bhoj Kharak Trek 3 - 4 Hrs.
    We will start our day a little early in the morning to see the changing shades of the rays over the Thalay Sagar as the sun rise. The day is free at leisure till lunch to explore the scenic beauty of the place. After lunch, we will walk back on the trail to Bhoj Kharak. Take pleasure of camping stay in tents in Bhoj Kharak.
  • Day 07: Bhoj Kharak - Gangotri Trek (3-4 Hrs) - Uttarkashi
    Today, we will have an early morning breakfast and thereafter, we will go down to Gangotri. From Gangotri town, we will drive to Uttarkashi via Harsil. On reaching, check in hotel in Uttarkashi and enjoy delicious dinner followed by an overnight stay.
  • Day 08: Uttarkashi – Rishikesh
    On the last day of our tour after breakfast we start our journey for Rishikesh.

Trekking, Tour and adventure actives in Himalayan region carry an inherent risk to life and goods. The natural calamities may cause injury and loss of life, which is beyond any control. Himalayas Adventure does its best to minimize all types of risks, discomfort and hazard to the best of their ability, yet there are chances of accidents, mishaps and deficiency in service.


Advisory:

  • Any delay from the customer’s side will lead to cancellation of trek/ tour/ adventure activities.
  • Trekking maybe cancelled due to some unavoidable circumstances i.e- weather condition, govt. notification, land sliding or any other natural calamity.
  • Himalayas Adventure reserves the right to discontinue, modify any trek, tour & adventure activities without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever.
  • Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc.) unfit for any reasons in the wisdom of the trek leader/guide/instructor will not be allowed for trekking /tour/ adventure activities. Request for a refund or a discount in such situation will not be entertained. Decision of the trek lead/guide/management in this regard would be final.
  • Total decided package cost will not be affected if there is any reduction in the number of persons
  • Minimum required 50% of amount to get confirmed the trek/tour/adventure activities.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 10-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-10 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days or can be adjusted in other trek or adventure activities.
